Common Duiker

The Duiker are the biggest of Mount Etjo's "small 4" antelope. This includes (from smallest to largest) the Dik-dik, Steenbuck, Klipspringer and Duiker.

Duikers lives in pairs, and are most easily distiguished from the Steenbuck by their greyish colour and black stripe down the face.

Duikers occur in the thicker bushed areas in the northern part of the sanctuary as well as along all the numerous riverines in the area.
